For Music Teachers, Tutors and Creative Practitioners

During the OFM programme, music leaders working with PIER:ONE developed a range of resources to support inclusive music making that they have collated into a tool kit for music teachers, tutors and creative practitioners.

In January 2023 practitioners from Create Music, Kent Music, Surrey Music Hub and West Sussex Music came together for a practice-sharing day.

As an alliance, we have been considering how we can broaden our instrumental tuition and ensemble offer to more pupils across the region.

Music leaders and practitioners have been using an evidence-based approach to best understand and develop music teachers’ practice towards a consistent student-led approach to inclusive music-making.
